and text-to-speech programs like Open Book. Just visit the web site below
and type an appropriate search term like "reading machines" or"sara" or
"open book" or "kurzweil" into the search edit field, and you should get
back a list of articles of interest. Access World's technology reviews are
unbiased and comprehensive.

Hello all. Does anyone know if there is a site which discusses various
advantages and costs of scanning software and stand alone reading machines
for the blind.
In other words, is there a site which models itself like Consumer Reports
where one can get an unbiased opinion on these items?
