Hi Cliff,
Have you tried to use a program called WavePad? It's a free program that
allows you to do all kinds of things with .wav files. You can edit them,
and join them together. If someone does decide to try this program, one
thing to be aware of. After about 10 days, it will ask you if you want to
buy a license for a masters version. Just tell it no, and you'll never be
bothered to buy the program again. The masters version offers features
I've
never needed, like a tone generator. Hope this helps.

Cliff, I don't think you can, I think if you wanted to do this, you'd
have
to use Goldwave or Soundforge or something like that to add one sound
file
to the end of the other, and then embed that new file.
Cheers
Alex

Subject: [Blind-Computing] procedural mystery
Good evening, folks:
My name is Clifford (Cliff) Smales, and I am a newcomer to this fantastic
network. I have a question and trust that someone out there will be able
to
help me.
Recently, I learned how to imbed either a piece of music, or a sound
effect
into an E-Mail message. I enjoy doing this, jokingly, with many of my
sighted friends.
A question has come up among our group of sound-effect collectors, that
has
us really dangling.
How, if possible, would you go about putting two consecutive sounds into
a
message. Would one of the programs on this system help in this fun task?
Many Thanks,
Cliff Smales
