Thanks for your idea,but it didn't work,while I was in avg hit enter on
check for updates the only butten that comes up is the ok one, tabbing
around does nothing .

hi john when the firewall warning pops up tab to allow then tab to save
this answer as a permanent answer that should allow it to connect and
