yes,it does work. I have just placed it in the programs autostart folder and
tried a reboot and it started with windows.

This program does not launch automatically when you boot your computer.
You must launch it manually from the Start menu, or create a hot key to
launch it. If you want it to launch automatically, you can try placing it
in the Start-up submenu of the All Programs submenu of the Start menu. I
have not tried this myself, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't
work.
