I'm going to presume that you're using Internet Explorer as your web
browser; here's the procedure I'd use to do what you ask:
1) Launch Internet Explorer
2) Open the "TOOLS" menu and select "Internet OPTIONS"
3) You'll find yourself in a multi-tab dialog, move to the "PROGRAMS"
tab.
4) Now tab to the control that identifies the default e-mail program,
Outlook Express should be in the available list, select it and go to and
deploy the OK button.
That will set Outlook Express as your default e-mail program.
