I copied this from www.komando.com. Has anyone ever heard of or used this
screen reading software? "Convert text to speech

We've all become so accustomed to using the computer to communicate. And we
use the Web regularly to find important information.

But what about those with impaired vision? They often have a difficult time
using computers. Some are unable to use a computer at all, at least without
specialized software.

Text-to-speech software can be expensive. But, if you're on a budget, you
don't need to pay for screen readers.
DSpeech is a free program that will read text from documents and Web pages.
It may not be as advanced as some programs. But, I think it does a great job
of converting text to speech.

You can save the output to an audio file if you want. You can even read text
from PDF files with the special plug-in.

If you have difficulty reading a computer screen, give this program a try!

Isn't it amazing how there is just enough news each day to fill the
newspapers?
