Hey what version of Live are you using? In 8.1 you can click the install 
alert, say no, and tell it not to remind you for one week. Why Microsoft 
took this away from 8.5 and above who knows.

   Always when I start my Windows Live messenger i get the window in which 
it's offered installing of a new version. As I still want to use the one
