Haven't tried these with the new JAWS, but here are some sites to look at.

These sites allow you to download songs to keep. Most of the music is copyrighted, so it's only for personal listening. But it's free and it's legal.

1.

Amazon.com

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/browse/-/468646/104-9654188-6669556

Here you'll find songs from both new and vintage albums. There are popular artists including Beck, Depeche Mode, Mannheim Steamroller and even Ella Fitzgerald.

There is also a large collection of songs from independent artists. You'll need to sign in as an Amazon member or sign up for free to access the music.

2.

CommonTunes

http://www.commontunes.org

This site offers songs from independent artists as well as classical recordings. There is a mix of both free songs and songs for sale. Titles with price

tags are clearly listed along with a dollar sign ($). The rest are all yours.

3.

Epitonic

http://www.epitonic.com

This site features selections from genres including jazz, rock and classical. It also offers an online organizer for all the music you find and share.

Can anyone suggest music websites using the latest JAWS? Is there any that do not charge you?
