The only time I've ever seen this is when Vista hasn't been registered with
a product key. If you are using jaws, does it speak when your laptop is
stuck. If so, something like this has happened. Can you provide more
information on what is happening with your laptop and I will do my best to
help you.

Hello all,
I don't know what's led up to this, but but from this morning my Vista
Home Premium laptop is stuck at the welcome screen. This happens even
in safe mode. What advice do you recommend? Thanks in advance for any
