Hi,
If you export a registry key and copy a folder containing the .wav files,
it's easy.
1. Press Windows key plus R and type in regedit and press enter.

2. Press Control plus F and type in schemes.

3. Tab through the checkboxes, the only one you want checked says "look at
keys", spacebar unchecks the other three each time you land on one), press
enter when you get to the "Find Next button".

4. You want to export this key which contains info on what schemes are set
up, what files they contain and which is your default scheme. From the file
menu, choose export and type in schemes. The resultant file will have a .reg
extention, pay attention to where you put the file or type c colon backslash
(c:|) in front of the file name to send it to the root directory of your
boot drive where it can easily be found.

5. Now open your boot or C: drive in my Computer, navigate to the Windows
folder, press enter to open, press m until you hear "media".

6. Copy this folder which contains the .wav files of sounds, and by the
means of your choice (cd, memory stick, etc.) get that copy to the new
machine and into the Windows folder, you will want to say yes when you are
asked to replace the existing folder and/or files. You will not lose any
files already there.

7. Now get a copy of the schemes.reg file from where you saved it and put it
on the new PC or on a floppy as it is small.
Highlight the schemes.reg file and press enter, answer yes to the "do you
want to import" question and press enter on OK when you are told that the
data has been imported.

Now when you look under sounds and audio devices in Control Panel you will
have sound schemes identical to what was on the other machine.

Hope this helps.

Jon
