If you're using Windows XP, you may be able to shop around for Partition
Magic. If you're using Vista, there's a free basic partition manager called
Paragon Partition Manager Express. It will allow you to create a new
partition by resizing your existing partition so that the new one can be
created to take over that space. Hope this helps.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Re-Partitioning Disk Drive
I currently have all of my programs and data in a single disk partition in
Windows.
I would like to re-partition my disk into two separate partitions to make
backup of some data go faster and take less space.
Is there a utility in Windows that can do this? Alternately, is there any
free-ware software that is accessible with Jaws that can accomplish this
task?
Thanks.
n Pete
