Yeah he told me.  500 GB for $88.00, but I went for size instead.

Only you can decide whether that's a good price or not.

Personally, I don't think it is, as you can actually get a 500 gig external
drive for about the same price, possibly no more than 10 dollars more.

What type of drive is it?

Is it self-powered, or does it require a power source in which to run.

Is it bulky, about an inch and a half in height, or slim, about half an inch
to a full inch?

I could see one of the powerless USB powered hard drives going to that much,
but again, for a few dollars more, you could obtain a 250 or 300 gig unit.

In any case, I guess whether it was a good price or not really depends on
you, as you know what you can afford, and so if 79 dollars was what you
could afford, then it was truly a good price.

If you could have afforded more, then it may not have been a good price, and
you might have settled for less than you could have gotten.

Just my thoughts, which you asked for in the first place.  Smile.
