Hi Bill,

These steps come from instructiond for configuring XP Word for Jaws. Some
of these steps you will have to do the opposite to get your desired results.
Disable the autocorrect options button and the automatic bulleting and
numbering
list of 7 items
. Open the tools menu and press ENTER on "autocorrect"
. TAB to the checkbox labeled "Show autocorrect options button" and uncheck
the checkbox.
. Press CTRL-TAB to access the "autoformat as you type" property sheet
. If you are a Window-Eyes users, use the down arrow one time and uncheck
the '"straight quotes" with "smart quotes"' option.
. Use the down arrow until you locate "automatic bulleted lists." This
option should be unchecked.
. Use the down arrow until you locate "automatic numbered lists." This
option should be unchecked.
. press ENTER
list end

Hope this helps rather than confuse. It's early and haven't had my morning
beer yet! Take care.
Mike

Subject: [Blind-Computing] How Do I Create Bulleted Lists in Word

I think the subject line sums up pretty well! (I hope)

But here's the skinny on this, I'm composing a letter in response to several
questions. One of the questions has five answers and I would like to list
these 5 items with each item bulleted (or dashed) to give a visual layout
that clearly ties these items together. How can I do this (in Word)?

Thanks!
