Just a thought - suppose you could also try out using something like the MS
virtual PC software since it seemed to be quite easy to in fact mount an ISO
image into it's virtual CD drive.
Stay well

The disk utilities in Vista should help, but if not you can get a free but
basic partition utility called Paragon Partition Manager Express. You
could also boot into a live CD of Vinux, install Gparted, and use that to
resize your current partition, so you can create additional ones. Please,
back up all data before proceeding, as messing with incorrect partitions
could yield your PC unbootable. Thanks.

Could someone tell me how to create a partition? Or is it too
complicated?

You will need to create a partition if you don't have one already. You
then
need to tell Windows setup to install onto that partition. After
installation! You'll get a boot menu with Windows 7 most likely being the
first choice then your previous operating system below that.

Yes, but it's not an official version so download and use at your own
risk.
I'd say if you can try it out in a virtual environment, then perform a
dual
boot, then, if you're a geek like me, attempt to install it over your
current operating system. Enjoy!
