[Blind-Computing] All those wonderful social sites

Just read a podcast on mctwit.  Sure sounds great!!    
Only problem with these sites - three guesses, the first two don't count:::
Both facebook and twitter have captchas!!
Bottom line: totally inaccessible to me.  What use is mctwit or anything else 
if I can't even create an account?????
