When you uninstalled firefox, did you get rid of the folder in your
application data, I believe? That's what it is under XP. Not sure how
it is with Vista, if that's what you're running. It's always a good
idea to make sure that when you uninstall programs, they do a clean
uninstall, which usually involves going in and possibly deleting any
leftover application data associated with that program. Having had to
reinstall Firefox fairly recently, I know I had to mannually delete the
Firefox folder from my app data.

A few days ago I installed F.F. latest version.
I got it to bring up an internet radio station.
Now, when I launch firefox, the radio station comes on. I can't get ctrl-o or
ctrl-l to do anything.
Instead, I seem to be stuck on some adobe flash page or something.
I uninstalled firefox tonight, re-installed it, launched it, and get the same
results
(am640 toronto) blasting away with it's imbedded player, so I can't even hear
jaws.
Help!!
Thanks in advance.
P.S. the only reason I want firefox is for the webvisum thing.
Thanks again.
