I personally use Outlook but you might want to look at the free Calendar
Magic
As John has said there is some good information on this on the blind
computing pages.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Accessible Appointment Book
Hello all. I do not have Microsoft Outlook on this machine. Does anyone
know
of an accessible appointment book? I need something that will alert me to
upcoming appointments, perhaps a day or so in advance maybe with an alarm.
If anyone knows of such a program I'd appreciate any info on what it is
and
where I can obtain it. Thanks.
Pete
