Hi Mark,
I've fixed one that kept coming off by super gluing it back on. Just remember it's permanent that way.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Fixing a laptop key

Hi
I know that this list normally deals with software issues but my internet searches have yielded mainly pictures on how to repair a keyboard. So, I hope the list monitors will pardon my post. Today my N key came off my laptop computer. I can't figure how to get it back on. I asked a sighted person and they couldn't figure it out either. I am using a HP laptop and over all it is a good and rugged machine. It would look better and be easier to use if the n key were installed. There appears to be three parts. First there is the cap that came off. Next there is a rubbery button under the cap. This is still attached to the computer. Finally, there is a squarish gadget that goes around the rubbery button. This gadget is what the cap fits on to. No matter how I align it the cap refuses to reattach. What do I do next?
    Thank you for your help.

God bless,
Mark
