Actually, I ran across a few different tools that were exactly what I was
looking for. As far as graphing, I guess that would be sort of hard with a
screen reader. But, what I was searching for, or, wanting to find at least
was something to take care of loads of different conversions but still give
me what the normal windows calc has as far as accessibility with using jaws.
the ability to go from different modes, one for conversions, one for just
typing in the numbers and pressing enter, something like that. I found two
different calcs though, both beeing free. One is by solarwinds used for
calculating IP related stuff, neat and the other one is just for conversions
of pretty much anything you could think of. Not sure why I wanted these
things but who knows when you may want/need to use something like this. Nice
thing is, they are both small, portable and are very accessible. The one
from solarwinds is called advanced subnet calculator and the conversion one
is called convert.

Scientific stuff?
The Windows 2000 Pro calculator will do just about everything any other so
called scientific calculator can do except for graphing and programmable
functions. Later versions "might" be even more sophisticated.
What kind of "scientific stuff" did you have in mind?

Another question about calculators for windows, does there happen to be
another calculator out there that can do more than the normal calc that is
still accessible with jaws? I guess it would be hard to do graphing and
scientific stuff with a screen reader but i was curious about the
different
options as far as that goes. Sorry by the way if this is off topic.

Yes, my keyboard has those keys too. Very handy! I usually need a on a
whim and need it quickly. When you are finished, just press Alt + F4 to
close the window.
