Hi Victor,
     Sure I would appreciate this information. It doesn't seem to me that I 
should have to pay a computer tech to do a job like this when I could do the 
job myself. I just need to know what equipment to buy and how to use it.

Just to add my two cents here, there is also an adapter that will hook up an 
internal drive, via it's IDE channel to the USB port on the computer that 
will allow one to read the drive as is, without any need for an external 
case.

I can get the information from my brother if anyone would like it.
