Rick, you're a genius. Yes, I do have a Soundblaster sound car. Mystery solved. I'll leave it alone. There's another one on the computer called "Quik Time" and I have no idea what it is or where it came from. I don't use I Tunes which is what someone suggested may be the connection. marilyn
