It doesn't let me disable the self defense module. This is why I can not use those tools. I check it off in the program settings and it won't. It might be due to this virus that might still be creeping in my computer.

I uninstalled Avast from my Control Panel before I installed MSE and it told me that it was totally out. Now Avast updated, it shows up in my system trey, and it doesn't show up in my control panel. I even went to its settings and told it not too start up on its own the real time. And it doesn't it . How can I get rid of this annoying program? I see a folder under Program Files that contains its content but it doesn't let me delete it? What can I do?
