Hi, If you are trying to show the hidden folders in XP the following will work. I like all my folders visible so I can back up certain ones. Go to Control panels. Choose folder options. Control tab to the view tab. Tab once to folder tree view. You may have to use right arrow to open the tree view. Arrow down through these changing them to suit your needs. There are two for showing hidden folders.
Then tab to okay when you are finished. Showing the hidden folders allows me to back up email and other folders in the Documents and Settings folder. You would want to be careful when opening any folders in the Documents and Settings not to make any changes unless you know what you are doing HTH, Sherrie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Melissa Hambleton" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, June 25, 2009 4:23 PM Subject: [Blind-Computing] viewing all folders and files in XP I just installed XP Pro and I'm using JAWS 10. I knew that when using XP a person isn't able to see all folders and/or files like I did when I was using Windows 2000. I haven't been able to figure out yet how to see all folders/files when using the up/down arrow keys. Can someone please help me with this?
