It works good with NVDA also, but I think I'm having some focus problems
with it when using JAWS 10.

Hi,
A friend of mine also advised me not to download IE 8 because he said
it didn't even work with Jaws 10. I have a much older version of Jaws
so I'm glad I didn't upgrade to IE 8.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] IE 8 and windows XP
Hi
Today my IE 7 decided to update to IE 8. I thought it sounded like
a
good idea. So, I told it to go ahead. Now it will only run with add ons
disabled and when I bring up my home page (Google) it says I need to
press
a
button to open parent document. First, how do I turn on add ons in IE 8
and
second, how do I get IE 8 to display the real Google page?
Thank you for your help.
God bless,
Mark

I failed to mention that I usually use Firefox, but if IE is having
problems too, we can probably come to the conclusion that it has
something to do with the new JAWS update and the configuration of pages
like Google..

Hi,
I had that problem in Firefox with Jaws10 and changed my home page from
the
standard google search to:
http://www.google.com/advanced_search
That seemed to fix it.

Use the specifically, Google accessible search:
http://labs.google.com/accessible/
After a search in which the rankings are also somewhat based on the
accessibility of the content, you jump to 2 paragraphs using the P key,
then
jump heading to heading to jump through the 10 results per page.
Stay well

It does it also but thanks for the thought.
