Hello, Sue:
I'm using an earlier version of Jaws, and can whipe out an e-mail from
within by hitting "delete".
It sounds, to me, as though your version of jaws just doesn't accomodate
that command.
The good thing about using the "shift-delete" is that the message in
question is gone, by-passing the "deleted" file.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Deleting Messages In Outlook Express
I'm using Outlook Express and can not delete email messages just by
hitting the delete key. Instead, I have to exit the message and hit
shift/delete. Is there some setting that I need to change?
Any help would be appreciated.
Sue
