I attempted to respond to this last night and for some reason it didn't go.
If you are on your message list. Hit Alt0 and it will clear the intire
buffer of tweets.

When you're on the message press alt+z. But you can't delete messages
others
wrote, only your own, otherwise it will give you a "403 forbidden" error.
