I will have to download and run the advisor again before I upgrade. The
version I ran did not have any download links that I am aware of. This
would come in handy on my kids XP computer. The advisor says that the
drivers for an old HP printer and the sound card needed updated by Windows
Update. However, I just purchased a USB headset that should get around
this problem as well.

I couldn't copy the link because it does something as soon as I click the
link. It doesn't let me. Try downloading the Upgrade Advisor again.
Maybe
you don't have the latest version.

What special driver is that? Hannah's got some to get for her card
reader
I
think. It said she can get them from Windows update. The rest so they
say
are compatible, but if mine can run Windows 7 with all hardware working
natively, so should hers.

Just to let you or the group know. I just ran the Windows 7 upgrade
advisor
and it said I could I just have to install a special driver. And I
have
to
back up my documents and programs. That is basically a clean install.
