You can't avoid that. Your going to have to configure that. I just did all
that because I just got my Netbook last Friday.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Settings question on settings, on my netbook.

Good morning everyone.

This evening, my reader who has sight, came over and helped me input the
usual settings for me too begin using my netbook, like user name and all of
the necessary information that you need to input before you can use the
netbook. Since I don't have as yet, an external cd drive in which too
install jaws, I ran satogo as a means of reading what was on the screen.
My question too those of you who use netbooks is, when I tried using the
windows m keytoo see if I could hear it say, windows m, desktop, it didn't

say say anything at all. However, when I used the tab key, it was saying
task bar quick launch tool bar, start menu control escape.
What I'm trying to ask here in a roundabout way here,is will I have too
configure all of the display settings such as screen resolution themes
modification folder options, task bar and start menu system performance, and

you know the rest, as I'm using windows xp home addition.
If I use system access too go, doesn't it or won'tit perform in the same way

as if I were too have jaws installed on it? The reason why I'm asking all
of these questions too all of you that have notebooks here on list, is
because I'm trying too save myself maybe an hour or two's worth of work.
