Some email providers have a limit on how many times you can access your
account via an email client, in a cerrtain time period. this could be the
case for the errors soemtime.not sure, but that is what came to
mind.first.

I do have it on that one, but about every 10th email I go to send, I get
an error message saying a time out occured with your server or to that
affect, that's one example and on other times, I get the error message
stating to wait or stop to send emails sitting in my inbox.
If I choose wait, they wait. But if I choose stop they are sent.
I logged into my account on the ATT web page and checked under the
pop/smtp settings and all is set up according to their specifications.
I realized after asking this question, that the account is my email
address.
But on the connections tab page, I am wondering if I should check the
first box there which says..
[email protected] Properties
General Servers Connection Security Advanced
Connection
If this account requires you to connect using a LAN or a
specific dial-up connection, you may override your default
Internet Explorer connection setting.
Always connect to this account using:
att
Settings... Add...
OK Cancel Apply
Do you think I should check this box?
