Would guess that they're then mostly referenced images that are being
called/shown from a website as such.
Like said, you can try forwarding message as an attachment, but otherwise,
don't really think it's worth too much worrying about since the images might
still show up for the other person even though not being attached as such -
who knows, can't test it as such.

The pictures are from two sources, mainly. One source isAncestry.com
postings
that I can open although I can't see and don't care about the pictures.
The
others are ones someone sends me as attachments, but when I forward the
message to someone else, I get that message that the pictures can't be
found
and do I want to send the message anyway? Sometimes, mostly, the pictures
are not apparent to me so I'm surprised when i get the message--I didn't
know they were there. marilyn----- Original Message -----

: Were they inline attachments, or externally linked ones?
:
: For example, in OE 6, it'll say the message has attachments, but they
don't
: show as attachments when the message is opened to be read and those are
: inline attachments for an HTML email, but you also get HTML mails with
links
: to external images, and might be confused but I think those are the ones
it
: it might try/have to omit when forwarding since they don't necessarily
get
: downloaded automatically when reading some messages.
:
: Lastly, for some of the messages with inline attachments, I forward the
: message as an attachment, and I think that might work better since I
don't
: really like sending HTML mails myself.
