Remember that download time is relative to the route you're using to get to/download the data.

There's almost never a direct connection to any server/host apart from sometimes things like downloading email since your connection host and the mail server may be connected to each other.

Also, download speed from a specific host would also depend on it's connection speed.

Fact is that there's almost never a direct connection to an internet host. For example, if you type something like the following in the command prompt:
tracert www.google.com

It'll return a trace route list of the actual jumps to get to a server, in this case, www.google.com, along with time per jump in milliseconds.

I know this is all a bit technical, but hope it helps make sense.

Same way if you download something from sendspace as an anonymous user, it'll be a lot slower than as a max member.

Stay well

A re-sit? It's something you can take again if you failed first time round.

Hello all,
Could someone please write to me off list so I can attach a document? It's a resit assignment documentation and I can't read certain parts of it as JAWS keeps saying blank blank blank. I tried changing the font with no go. I even tried converting the table to text thinking it was a layout issue and still no go. I even tried saving it as HTML but the converted web page didn't even show the part at all! But I know it's there as there's lots of blank blank blanks. Anyway, all help would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to start on this today or tomorrow if possible.
Thanks in advance.
