Cliff,
I have not yet downloaded from NLSBARD, but I don't think what you describe
is a problem. Try switching to your Jaws cursor and arrowing up and down a
few lines. You should see information showing the current status of your
download, the time remaining for the download, the percent downloaded, etc.
This will often give you more up-to-the-minute information about your
download than waiting for Jaws to announce it.

When I download magazines from Nls, my computer will keep me advised as to
progress by telling me which percentage of the download has been
accomplished.
When we reach the mid to upper 60 percentile, however, the verbal countup
stops. Has the download stopped, also?
When I tab, I'm given a fresh advisory. When I shift-tab back, the countup
continues. Am I making a mess of it, anywhere?
