Yes, it sounds like you are in the annoying short, endless loop that plays
at the menu. If you are lucky, the author of the DVD set a reasonable
default for the menu. If they did, you might be able to just press Enter in
Windows media Player to start the movie. Unfortunately, not all authors
make the same decisions or DVDs work the same. If pressing Enter does not
work, try mike's or Jacob's suggestions. The DVD standard sucks for many
reasons!

I ordered a movie from amazon.com but now I can't play it. When I put
the DVD into the computer, all I hear is a song played numerous times.
Recently I had a DVD drive installed on my computer but now I don't
know what to do to play the movie. I'm using windows media player to
try to play the movie.
