Excuse this if it's repetitive, I don't read these posts often, but I was
wondering how people use facebook with jaws. In internet explorer 8 it
seems as though I can't comment on people's status's nor do I have any
luck using those little buttons that say "more" or "older posts" or "see
all 7 comments" I press enter on the button that should expand those
things and nothing happens. I also have times when I write a wall post or
a private message to someone and I hit the button to submit and I wait and
I wait and I wait and nothing happens. I literally have to copy my note to
the clipboard, go to some other page and then click back onto the page I
was trying to use, paste my info back in and hit "send" and then at that
point it will send. I'm not sure why IE 8 hangs up like that.
In firefox I can't do anything except view my home page. The good thing is
that I can actually comment to anything I see there on my main news feed
since firefox allows jaws to recognize the buttons under the comment boxes
which ultimately submit the comment. If I try to click through to see
other people's pages it brings up this page that's more or less blank. It
has all the headers and navigational links and it has my name, but at that
point the whole thing hangs up on me and I literally have to go to the
address bar and retype www.facebook.com just to get me out of that funky
dead end space.
What's up with facebook and how do you all use it most effectively?
