Yes if you bought your music I.E. Wal-Mart's download site, Amazon, iTunes ETC. Most of that stuff is not DRM free, but Apple is moving away from some DRM stuff meaning more and more of there music is becoming DRM free. You can play DRM free music on any MP3 capable device. HTH.
