Did a Google search and found that I'm not the only one having trouble finding there cookies folder. Turns out that IE7 has played some tricks. There are some instructions on finding the cookies, but the way its written for sighted people, I can't seem to figure out what steps to take.

Any IE7 users out there that have figured out how to get to the cookies and be able to delete some of them.

I should have cleaned up my cookies folder before I installed IE7, but had not thought that it would make things more difficult to get to the folder. I should have known . . .Microsoft at it's best!

I just did that tonight myself on my computer..
I just went to my computer and the c drive and then to HP administrator entered on that and arrowed to cookies entered on that and went through the list and did a shift-delete on the ones I wanted to delete, then just backspaced to close the folder and then did alt f4 to close my computer.

Hello everyone,

I used to go in to my cookies folder all the time. Haven't done it for a while, but I decided to do it tonight. For some reason, it is now a .dat file. I used to be able to just click on the folder and it listed all the cookies. What do I do now?

I'd like to clear out some cookies, but not all. Some are for web sites that I visit all the time and want that cookie information left.

Any ideas on what I can do? I'm running XP Pro service pack 3.

Thanks,

Ken
