Hi Jenny,
Just read your email again. The steps I gave you are for 2003, don't know if
they will work for 2007.

Hi Jenny,
Here's how you turn that off.
1. Go to the Tools option on the menu bar by hitting Alt + T
2. Arrow down to AutoCorrect
3. Hold down your control key and hit tab until you come to the AutoFormat
As You Type tab.
4. Tab once to get to a list box.
5. Arrow down 7 times until you get to the "Internet and network paths
with hyperlinks" checkbox.
6. Uncheck that box by hitting the space bar
7. tab once and hit the space bar on the ok button and you're all set.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Email Addresses and Hyperlinks
Hi Listers
Whenever I type an email address in a document, XL or email it comes up
as a
Hyperlink. Whilst it's good sometimes can I turn it off? Is there a
toggle
for it? I'm running Office 2007.
Thanks in anticipation
Kind regards
Jennifer Dawson
