I have a similar problem. I use insert-f10 to open windows list; select and enter on the program and then alt-f4 , most of the times, it works. Hi Everyone, Sorry for a long e-mail. Perhaps the subject is a little confusing, but I seem to have a problem. If I do an Alt+F4 to exit Window Media Player or some other programs like Replay AV, they remain in the processes tag. What happens is that when I try to use the program again at a later time, I get an error message that the program is still running. Other times, if I try to save a Mp3 file after editing it with GoldWave, the edited file cannot be saved in the original location. The message says that the file is in use. The only way that I know to get around this problem is to do Alt+Ctrl+Del and go into the processes tag. There, I arrow down until I find the program in question and tab over to end the task. This is time consuming! Does anyone know how I can successfully close a program that would not still be in processes. I suppose that these programs are still in the background? I know that other programs are in there that needs to continue to run in the background like anti-virus and firewall. When I reboot the system, the programs that I am having problems with are not in processes therefore they are not starting with the reboot. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
