Hi Matthew,

After Jaws announces "Jaws for windows is ready" Jaws says nothing. I
press insert + T for say title & Jaws announces start, tab 1 time Jaws
announces start button, tab a 2nd time Jaws says Task bar clock, tab a 3rd
time Jaws says Norton Ghost or whatever is the 1st thing in the system tray,
then the 4th time there is the desktop. This is not a problem, but more of
a curiosity because my computer has never done this and just started doing
this about a week and a half ago. I have tried uninstalling anything that
had been newly installed to no avail. I thought it might be a focus issue
and that is why I disabled Autosizer because Autosizer has been known to
cause focus issues from time to time. Now here is the wierd thing. I
rebooted just before replying to you and my computer is back to opening on
the desktop window. I was just curious if anybody else had ever had this
happen to them and what they might have done to correct it. Thank you very
much for your response. Take care.
Mike

Do you mean that when you reboot jaws says "start button?" If you tab 4
times to get to the desktop, I don't understand why this is a problem.
What
do you mean by "start." Is this anomaly preventing you from accessing
windows? Have you installed anything in recent past?

  Matthew
