Yes, you can run xp on it with out any problem...
I am using xp on my laptop dual core processor at 2.0ghz, and 2 gb of ram...

the card reader built in it and as it is adapted for win vista, how
would it work with the windows xp? Just asking, not knowing how jaws 10
