Folks, Just a curious question. Yesterday, I was doing some system reconfiguration inside the computer case and noticed my SATA CD/DVD drive only had a power cable and the serial cable that plugs into the mother board . I know in the past CD Rom's in a computer had a 3rd cable as well which was an audio cable that plugged into your sound card or in the case of on board sound directly into the mother board. With the new SATA CD/DVD drives do they send the sound through the serial cable as well?
