Hi Jacob,
I appreciate the information on the briefcases for laptops. Personally,
I love the storage and hands free portability of a backpack. However, the
people I meet would think of the briefcase as being professional looking.
So, its one of those things where the blind person is trying to blend in.
Which part of the world are you from? I am in the Western United
States.

Chances are that if they mention the measurements for the briefcase it's
related to the outer size of the laptop when folded.
FWIW, I actually use a form of rucksack/backpack that's specifically also
meant to be used for laptops, but is easier to carry since it's a
backpack, is somewhat weatherproof, and another thing is it doesn't look
too obviously like a laptop bag/briefcase, which is a bit of both with
regard to good/bad this side of the world.

Hi
I am looking at buying a briefcase for my laptop. When researching
the topic, I found that they have measurements. Is this the outside
dimensions of the computer or the size of the screen they are referring
too? It occurs to me that the screen is the most common measurement given
on computers but it is not relevant to the exterior size of the computer.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
