hello there;

give these steps a try.

For privacy reasons, you may not wish to send these return receipts. As
Outlook's default option is to prompt you each time, it is possible that you
might accidentally send a receipt for a particular message without reading
the dialog box. Thus, you may wish to force Outlook to ignore receipt
requests without ever prompting you.

 1. Select "Tools" - "Options".
alt plus T=tools, O=options.

2. The "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears. make sure your on the
"Preferences" tab.

 3. Tab and enter on the E-mail Options button.

4. When the E-mail Options dialog box appears, tab and enter on the
"Tracking Options" button.

5. When the "Tracking Options" dialog box appears, you will see a set of
radio buttons underneath "Use this option to decide how to respond to
requests for read receipts. Only applies to Internet Mail accounts." check
the "Ask me before sending a response" radio button.
or you could use your arrow key, and select never send.

I hope this helps.

Configuring Outlook 2007 to never send responses to read receipt requests

6. Click "OK" on the dialog boxes to close them.
