white pages doesn't charge for a straight lookup. if you are looking for
someone with an unlisted number, there are links to different services
that
do charge

I checked out one of the sites that said it was free, but, it isn't you

charged something to get the information.
I am not sure if I want to try this site if they are going to charge me.
