My (very) old Win2K PC crashed and burned in early September and I've purchased a Vista desktop in its' place. The old PC had Office 2000 Professional installed and I still have the installation CD (and the license ID). So, I installed this old version of Office Pro on the new PC hoping that I could get pertinent updates. Well, I guess I need to upgrade to Service Pack 3 (for office), but when I try to run the Service Pack 1 update it fails. When I try to run the Service Pack 2 patch I'm told I can't do that without first running the Service Pack 1 patch. What to do, what to do?
