I know, but it is set in the option of the sound card, not at the speaker options.

hello there;

are you making sure that you highlight the particular device you want to
reset to default?

if you have, speakers, plus, headphone, jaws says speakers for both, so, you
can route pc to jaws, to read.
most likely, your headphones are the second one, highlight then tab set to
default.

  Hello,
There are some buttons that are for setting the defaults etc, but none of
them works. Anyone or you have another suggestion? I think it is the sound
card problem...

Hello there;

maybe, you could try;

1, going into system tray,

2, enter on the volume icon,

3, select play back devices, and enter,

4, perhaps there's a set default button?

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Speakers and soundcard question

  Hi all,
  I made a problem a little while ago and can't solve it. It really makes
me ill! Anyway, I have realteck hdd audio network soundcar on my toshiba
laptop. And whenever I plug a headphones or spekaers in, I get the pop up
dialog in which I can set what device I connected. Everything went ok till
in that dialog (which is not so accessible) I found a combo box with the
sund environment. I experimented but there is the "none" option in the
combo
box that I activated and none of the effect were loaded. But anot
her combo box, "rock combo box", doesn't have the option to disable all
effects so from the moment I moved to an option with an arrow I am getting
strange output sound from the spekers So how to set it back to be able to
hear normal sound from my speakers?
  Thanks!
