In the folder in question press alt plus v, then i, then n.
This reverses the alphabetical sort order and is a toggle.

My documents have all of a sudden reversed themselves in that the first
item, aphetically, has moved to the last item; could someone tell me how

fix this so that the a/s are at the top and the z's are at the bottom.
