Milo,
I believe that you can do the following.
1. Move to the program that you want in the start menu itself. You should
find this in all programs.
2. Press the applications key, (just to the left of the right control key.)
3. Now arrow up and you should hear Jaws say, "Pin to start menu."
4. Enter here and this should permanently place this program in your start
menu.
Hope this helps,
Russ

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Start menu and pop up
Hi all,
I have two problems, so please help me:
1. When a program is installed and if I don't use it for some time, it's
shortcut vanishes from the start/programs. What to do? Where is the
setting that I have to change in order for the shortcuts to remain?
2. Some pop up dialogs that should vanish after some time remain till I
press escape on them. For example, the alerts when a contact sign in to
msn...
Thanks in advance and best regards!
