Hi gang. Lately, I have been experiencing problems with Windows Media Player, my default media player, playing podcasts. When I click on a web page link to listen to a podcast, WMP launches but there is no sound, just silence. For instance, when I visit the Innovations Radio page (http://www.theglobalvoice.info/gallery.php?show=innovations) and select one of the "Listen" links to play a recent show, WMP launches, but there is no sound. This does not happen all the timebut only sporadically. Rebooting my PC always fixes this problem and restores WMP to normal, but there must be a better solution. Any idea why WMP sometimes refuses to play podcasts accessed from a web page? I am running WMP 11 with XP Pro and JAWS 9. Thanks.
