Hello Oyvind,

Thank you for your response. When I open the speedtest.net webpage I am not
finding any begin or start links and if I press the letter " b " for buttons
Jaws tells me that there are no buttons on this page. I do admit that I am
not the most knowledgable Jaws user when it comes to Internet surfing but,
if you would be so kind as to give me a more detailed list of steps on how
you are starting your test and getting your results it would be truly
appreciated. The reason I am wanting to test my speed is that I recently
updated our service from 10 meg down/1 meg up to 20 meg down/2 meg up and it
just doesn't seem like I am getting the service that we are paying for. I
did find some test results but, they are from back in January of this year
and the test was probably run by a technician that was here at the house.
Thanks again. Take care.
Mike

I tried www.speedtest.net and it work just fine for me.

I hit enter on the button labeled "Start test" or was it "Begin Test"...
And my results were shown a couple of seconds later.

The results were only "visible" for a couple of seconds and then
disappeared.

But I could then press enter on the Link "Show my results" to review my test
results thoroughly.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Accessible Internet speed test sites

Hi All,

Would someone please provide the list with 1 or more Internet speed test
sites that are totally accessible to screen reader users. Both the sites
that were provided to us by our provider are only accessible to the sighted.

A totally blind person needs sighted asisstance. The 2 speed test sites
that our provider gave us are below in case someone knows how to access
these sites and would be so kind as to explain how they do it.

www.speedtest.net

www.speakeasy.net

All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take care.
Mike
